Bio

Mary Claire specializes in mass-tort litigation, representing pharmaceutical and medical device clients, along with manufacturers of various products. She works on all phases of litigation including discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and trials.

Prior to joining the firm, Mary Claire gained extensive experience as a litigation associate, representing contractors, subcontractors, and public entities in complex construction disputes. She assisted in successfully obtaining judgments in federal and state courts, drafting appellate briefs for the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and negotiating settlements with regulatory agencies.

During her tenure at Loyola Law, Mary Claire distinguished herself as a Crowe Scholar, served as a member of the Loyola Law Review, Order of Barristers, Chair of the Moot Court Board and First Amendment Moot Court Team Coach. Mary Claire was also a student practitioner in Loyola’s esteemed Immigration Clinic, representing asylum seekers in Immigration Court.

Outside of the legal realm, Mary Claire holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and volunteers her time to organizations such as Crescent City Café and Young Leadership Council. She also leverages her legal skills to effect positive change, having negotiated legislation to codify certain child welfare procedures in Louisiana.

Driven by a dedication to achieving positive outcomes for her clients, Mary Claire brings a steadfast commitment to integrity, diligence, and compassion to her legal practice and beyond.
