Meera U. Sossamon




Meera has authored motions, oppositions to motions, and other pre-trial documents. She also has experience working on multi-plaintiff and mass-consolidated litigation. She has an undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and worked as a research assistant measuring volatile organic compounds in the Environmental Health Sciences lab at the Tulane School of Public Health. Prior to starting at the firm, Meera clerked for the Honorable Ivan Lemelle, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

  • Analysis of documents in preparation of corporate depositions in national mass-tort products liability action against medical device manufacturer
  • Preparation of witness kits for potential Rule 30(b)(6) corporate deponents for major medical device manufacturer in national mass consolidated products liability action
  • Drafted and argued successful 12(b)(6) motions
