Bio

Kennedy M. Rose practices in both state and federal courts defending clients in a variety of complex matters, including personal injury, products liability, property damage, and bad faith claims. She is experienced in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, motion practice, preparation and execution of in-fact and expert witness depositions, and preparation for mediation and trial.

Kennedy began her legal career at a young age as a student worker in probation services at the 16th Judicial District Attorney’s Office during high school. While earning her undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University, she would join the LSU Football recruiting department, along with the Gaming Division at Attorney General Jeff Landry’s Office.  During law school, Kennedy clerked for both plaintiff and corporate defense firms before ultimately accepting an associate position at a corporate defense litigation firm with a focus on the defense of insurance companies and their insureds.

A fierce advocate for justice and equality, Kennedy has always remained active in organizations that are committed to the empowerment of women and minority attorneys in addition to diversity, equity and inclusion for all. During her time at SULC, Kennedy was a member of Women in Law, Sports and Entertainment Legal Association, and Black Law Students Association.

Kennedy is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. which promotes unity and service to all mankind. She is also a member of the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society and the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Young Lawyer’s Section committee. Since joining Irwin Fritchie, Kennedy has joined the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.
