Scott Minyard

Scott focuses his practice on defending corporate clients in a wide array of occupational disease cases in which thousands of plaintiffs have claimed injury as a result of exposure to various agents, including asbestos, silica, and welding fumes, primarily at shipyards, chemical plants, and refineries. He represents clients in state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate level, in Louisiana and in other states. Scott has represented manufacturers and retailers in pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, and defended a manufacturer of dietary supplements in multi-district litigation involving thousands of plaintiffs. He has also defended insureds in a broad spectrum of other personal injury actions, such as automobile accidents and slip and fall cases.
