Irwin Fritchie Announces Selection of
Timothy F. Daniels as New Firm President

NEW ORLEANS, LA (January 9, 2023) – Irwin Fritchie Urquhart Moore & Daniels, LLC, is proud to announce the selection of Timothy F. Daniels as President of the firm effective January 1, 2023.

“I hope everyone will join me in congratulating Tim on his selection to his new position as President of Irwin Fritchie,” stated Irwin Fritchie founding partner and former President, Gus Fritchie. “It has been my pleasure to serve as the President of this prestigious firm for the past 11 years, and I am confident that, under Tim’s leadership, we will continue to excel as the preeminent litigation firm in Louisiana and build on our reputation as one the best places to work in the city of New Orleans.”

Recently elevated to named partner of Irwin Fritchie, Daniels has held a variety of leadership positions within the firm since joining as a partner in 2008, including serving on the Executive Committee and as Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. During this time, Daniels has utilized his trial experience, litigation acumen, and thought leadership to advance the proficiency of each Irwin Fritchie practice area, including products liability, railroad law, environmental and toxic tort, and pharmaceutical and medical device.

“First, I would like to thank Gus for doing such a tremendous job as President of the firm for so many years,” stated Daniels. “Coming out of law school, Gus was one of my mentors, providing me with a wealth of both opportunity and guidance in those early days. Thankfully, Gus is not going anywhere, so we are fortunate to have the continued benefit of his wisdom and advice in our midst, which I will be counting on as I make the effort to follow in his extraordinary example for the next year.”

“I am so blessed to have found my way back to work with the wonderful people here so many years ago,” continued Daniels. “As always, I will do my very best to contribute, in any way I can, to the perpetuation of the fine culture that has been the hallmark of Irwin Fritchie since its founding.”

As one of the preeminent trial attorneys in the country, Tim has served as lead counsel in some of the nation's highest profile Multi-District Litigation matters. He serves as an advisor and counsel to Fortune 500 companies, and as a mentor to the next generation of attorneys at Irwin Fritchie. He has been recognized as an LSU Law Center Distinguished Alumni, New Orleans CityBusiness Leadership in Law, Best Lawyer: Lawyer of the Year, LMG Life Sciences, SuperLawyers, and Top Lawyers.

Tim Daniels is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, President-Elect of the National Association of Railroad Counsel, former President of the New Orleans Bar Association, and serves as an Adjunct Professor and Member of the Dean’s Council of the LSU Law Center.
