Madison Sharko

Madison Sharko is a trial lawyer who defends technology, consumer-product, and life-sciences companies in high-stakes litigation across Louisiana's state and federal courts. Her practice spans state attorney general enforcement actions, product liability, and mass torts. Her clients include companies facing their first major exposure in Louisiana and companies managing national litigation beyond Louisiana.

Madison served on several trial teams in multiweek jury trials defending a global chemical manufacturer, a medical device manufacturer and pharmaceutical manufacturer. Her trial work contributed to favorable outcomes in six jury trials in federal multidistrict litigation and state-court proceedings. She also defends medical device and consumer-product manufacturers in individual and mass-tort actions, and has worked on cases involving advanced product technology, from surgical devices to software. Whether as workup counsel or at trial, she is known for translating complex science and engineering into clear, persuasive themes for judges and juries.

Madison also has an active constitutional litigation practice. Through her pro bono work, she has handled constitutional briefing, discovery disputes, and supervisory writ practice in Louisiana trial and appellate courts. She has also drafted amicus briefs for the U.S. Supreme Court and the Fifth Circuit, and recently tried a pro bono case to verdict in Orleans Parish.

She is an adjunct professor at Tulane Law School.

Madison received her law degree cum laude from the University of Michigan.
