Bio
Gus is a seasoned trial attorney with an active trial and appellate practice both in federal and state courts. His practice concentrates on defending a wide range of professional liability claims asserted against lawyers, insurance agents and brokers, real estate agents and brokers, accountants, and other professionals.
He has a diverse insurance defense practice defending personal injury as well as, property damage and product liability claims asserted against public entities, businesses, and their insurers including claims based on alleged civil rights violations and employment practices.
Gus also has litigated a wide variety of insurance coverage issues arising out of the various areas of his insurance practice.

First chair for over 100 bench and jury trials in state and federal court
Argued before all Louisiana District and Federal Courts as well as the Louisiana Supreme Court
Panel Counsel for numerous professional liability and general liability insurers including the Louisiana Bar Association's Lawyers Professional Liability Insurance Program
